Well it was a crazy morning. Rain came through about 4 times, and we had to run for cover. Not being familiar with this area, we figured we'd search for brushpiles around points, but could not find any at all after about 20 minutes. There are no docks on Rayburn, except the marinas. So, why not try it?? Well, glad we did! It was a floating dock with steel beams, so it wasn't ideal, but we caught about 15 fish under it.

Some were future slabs.

Then we notice some brush out from the dock and caught another 30-35 fish off of it. Lots of dinks until this one...

Right at 16 inches

Then something bad happened frown. On the way home, I noticed my trailer shaking really bad above 45 mph. Limped home about 40 miles to the tire shop to see what the deal was. Turns out one had a big hump in it about 6" long on the sidewall. So the Triton got a new pair of shoes!

Nope! I was kinda disappointed that I couldn't find any out away from the ramp area, and I didn't get your pm til we were eating lunch! I'm going to try down there next time.

Oh ... well those are good spots to try, next time, hope you catch some hawgs. And stay in the boat cut when traveling!

They were probably 7 years old. Came off of my grandpa's Aerostar. They were brand new basically when I put them on. He took them off because he thought they were affecting his mileage.

You carry a spare I hope. Don't let a trailer tire blow or you'll be pulling wrinkles out of the fender. Those are some nice fish. I was going let you know, that buddy of mine was fishing Noconiche while we were on Palestine and he was able to boat 15 big ones. He was jigging the timber using a pearl white jig. Gotta go, nice job on Rayburn.
