...last night I was sorting my soft plastics in the kitchen sink by buoyancy/rate of fall and rebagging them accordingly, and testing some on a shaky head with a pole when my wife came home... lots of laughs. Luckily she supports my horrible addiction. The cats and dog were less amused by it when I was teasing them pitching around the house and getting them to chase a 1oz weight! It could be worse though... I could be a golfer or something instead...

I really do wish y'all would disclose which lakes you are fishing. I'm not asking for brush pile coordinates or anything. Just curious as to which body of water. Thanks.

But since you asked, I'll narrow it down for you. We caught most of our fish on about 4 brush piles on 4 different acres out of the 44,000 on Richland Chambers.

But seriously, in the spirit of the good ol crappie section of the TFF forum...here you go:
Piles were in 16, 18, 19, & 20' of water respectively. Caught most right on the bottom. We also picked up 3-4 nice keepers off timber, but it was easier for my daughter to fish the brush piles. Two piles were simply stacked with fish.
