I saw the same dead bass a couple days ago too. It was in the north pond. Had zero bites that morning as well. It's all bankbassin's fault that I keep going there. Every time I get skunked I think "I'm not coming back here" then I see the fish he's pulled outta there and back I go. Oh well, it's almost a pride thing at this point. I may wait until it cools down a little before I head back that way.

Hey robmoe glad the advice helped u catch a few try going up to the next size roboworm the 6 inch it will help u cast a little further also I have had very little luck casting towards the middle those fish stay parallel to the bank on the first little break were I believe it drops into 3-3.5 ft of water Aaron's magic red is money on that pond. Hope that helps also bust out that finese jig and fish it slow hop don't drag and it will stay on top of the moss. Those fish get tremendous pressure but I will try and get out there and stick a few hopefully lol

I'm having a hard time finding actual roboworms, I lucked out and found some at Academy in lewisville. There was none at the Academy near me, off Parker. I'm going to go to borlows today... Maybe they'll have some.

I buy mine at the bass pro here in garland not sure it that's to far for u other than that I order them on tackle warehouse. I know some guys throw senkos and catch some but I believe those fish get acustomed to seeing them and that robo worm not many throw it there and even fewer throw it weightless

Sorry Rob... I'm not trying to guilt you into going. There's are good fish in there, maybe I've just been at the right place at the right time and have been lucky so far.

Side not barlows had a selection of robo's. Picked up several packs in different sizes and colors. Also found a hard bait that I used to kill bass and large perch back in the day, 15+ years ago. I have looked everywhere for this little bait and no one had it, or I was just looking in the wrong place. I work this like a jerk bait, when you stop your retrieve it just suspends in the water, doesn't really move at all. I used to throw this just to see what was in the water, caught everything from perch, bass, even catfish. Even though it's really small, I would catch decent size bass on it.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Most of my bigger bass have been caught on smaller lures. I've been very surprised at the size of bass that will hit a smaller bait.

Made a quick trip to twin lakes today between 1245 and 2 or so. Caught three little ones. Threw the roboworms. Tried out a couple different colors, all three I caught came from the color they call bluegill, brownish with a bright green belly. Every time I get a hit there I think it's going to be huge...not today.

Went to the north pond this afternoon (12:30ish). Caught a catfish with hot dog. It was around 12 inches.

Well, it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to fish Twin Lakes as much as I used to. I'm moving to a new company so I won't be as close I was. Just a thought though. I went back and was looking at the pictures and some of video that I didn't post. The bigger bass that I've caught out of there were all caught on slightly bigger baits. With that being said, something that may work really well would be an 8+ inch worm. I'm not sure what color, but it might just just big enough to get their attention and for them to feel like eating it. I've been meaning to try this out, but I don't have anything that big... I know I probably should, but I don't. If anybody tries this, I'd be interested to know the results. Good Luck!!!!

I fish with 10" worms a lot on T-rig. I will give it a shot. I'm about done with this place. Fished it a ton and never caught anything worth taking a picture of!
