Did you put the motor in the front?

How is that working out.

sometimes ya got to do that smile

it's quite stable.
Although if it was choppy/windy, Rule #1 obeyed !

Front motor and rear rudder, works great. I don't have a comparison of course, but turning the boat is very easy and predictable.

I'm headed for Wheeler Branch tomorrow morning. Will post results tomorrow evening. Windy day in the forecast, so wish me luck, y'all.

I stand most of the time when I am fishing solo.

Not so much with another guy in the boat. Keep your feel wide as the bottom of the boat and you can stay balanced pretty easy.

DO NOT get your feet any closer than that and DO NOT reach behind you while standing ha ha

Take your phone out of your pocket before you do this.

Just a thought.

Falling in the water isn't a big deal in the summer.

Just don't do it in the winter.

Great news, y'all. WHEELER BRANCH IS FULL! I was pleasantly surprised to see water up to the brim! All of those cedar trees that were bulldozed into the water are now under water. Nice! My fishing results, however were not nice....just weird. First cast: 3.5-pounder. Second cast (into same bush): 2-pounder. Not another fish until I got a dink 2 hours later, and then another 2-pounder at 11:30 or so. Nothing after that, and I fished until 4:30. Fished deep, shallow, and most every depth in between. Some schooling fish chasing shad on surface in cove by SW end of dam and in cove at NE end of lake. I couldn't get there in time to catch any of whatever they were. Lots of vegetation in the lake right now - at least 4 kinds. Grass is as deep as 20+ feet in places.

I usually wear my PFD all the time in winter for that reason.

Falling in without it in summer, no big deal really.

In winter, it could be serious, so PFD 100% of the time in winter.

Hey all, Im thinking of buying a a 10' Rhino from a guy locally. He's asking 1100 for it. Comes with a trolling motor and 4hp merc. Im getting more pictures today hopefully but from everything I've read, it seems like that may be alot to pay for a 2 man. Im new to this arena, but want to be able to have something small that I can teach my three year old in and that's easy to move around. Any thoughts or feedback would be great. Thank you
