Me too. I had my wife and kids out yesterday and the fishing wasn't that good, but the swimming was great. The only thing with my kids is once they get in the water, they are DONE fishing.

This is what I do. Just go early and leave by noon or so unless the fishing is on fire.

Same here. I used to be able and more than willing to do that, just can't anymore. Takes a toll...guess due to age and health.

I think fishing at night is the way to go this time of year.

That is what I usually do in the summer, when I do fish. Jump in from time to time.

Blondes in bikinis will take your mind off the heat. Especially ones that can fish, run the trolling motor and like to swim. And look dang good doing all of it.

Got out on Conroe @ 7:45am and headed north of 1097. Fished the flats north of Stow-Away then back to Weir Creek to fish docks. Nada. Chartreuse and white spinnerbaits to pumpkinseed worms. Nothing. Gave up by 10:00.

The good news is I got out on the water and the boat ran great.

I work in a shop with west facing doors better believe it gets hot so Im pretty well acclimated in the heat. Plus Im constantly drinking water and wear a boonie hat to keep the sun off my face and neck when fishing.

Not this morning. There was a perfect breeze. 2 legal hybrids, 16 sandies, 8 cats, 1 LMB, and countless yellows. As long as there is some wind it is good till noon. Fishing best 10 - 11.

Sat afternoon was warm but comfortable with the breeze we had BUT at the ramp coming in it was so humid other than that it was a great evening. We launched at 5:30pm and fished till dark.
