reading the posts, looks like you guys us 36" shaft length on the trolling motor.

any over-torque mounting problems or gotcha's when you use 45 to 50lb thrust motors ?

Pretty cheap one I happened across here, not a bad deal at all for 10ft with battery and trolling motor.

looks fair....but I'd hate to make the drive to find the "143 form" is all he has...don't see numbers on it.
I'll respond, but to be honest, the few things I have bought off craigslist, in some way made me regret it!

That's not a very good boat.

Go down the Academy Sports and take a close look at it.

Plus it is real heavy.

i was thinking the same thing. I had the 10e also and it was no problem to load or unload and that was in a lifted truck.

count me in on that!

I will be dragging it into/out of a 14'regular flatbed trailer. Room on the trailer for a dolly when needed.

Your 2nd post in this (awesome) thread..3 years ago, same boat for you now, or something different now?

The 10E gets a lot of love overall. A good 10E brainwashing thread over at bass resource, hehe smile

my old trailer taking a lot of work. not unexpected. re-wired it tonight.

I guarantee you it's lighter than my pond prowler 10ft... though it's less solid, and doesn't feel as stable even though it's slightly wider, which makes it less convenient for truck bed fitment purposes... regardless, just as good as any of them for the most part... Battery and a decent 55lb trolling motor are going to be worth half as much as the boat though so really... in needs to float and hold you and your stuff on top of it. That's about all any of them do well. It's a tiny floating casting deck, not so much a boat. Only difference between them and a paddle board or kayak is they are great for two people. Down side is they are a pain to haul or use solo without a trailer and/or dolly... and also that they do not paddle very well, because you're higher up off the water. Upside is they also take a gas motor nicely and move around alright on either motor, but by the time oyu have the boat, battery, trolling motor, and an outboard, you have an easy $1200+ rig used and over $2k rig new... but then that's what people spend on "good" fishing kayaks to be stuck paddling not fishing, and if you don't love paddling and exercise, you will tire quickly of paddling to fish.
