I was out doing a little crappie fishing on Fork on Saturday and she came up on me while I was fishing a brush pile. She circled my boat glaring at me and then drove off. A few minutes later she came by my boat on pad about 10 foot away and glared at me again. This is not the first time she has circled me while fishing. She never says anything just drives in circles looking mad and drives off. I don't understand why a guide needs to act like this. Hey if you want to fish there too just ask I'll be glad to share the spot. However it's no reason to operate your boat in a unsafe manner.

That's unprofessional for a guide to be acting so childish. Was she with a client at that time?

Yes she was. The one time I was going to say something she had a young kid in the boat so I bit my tongue. Next time if she doesn't have a kid with her I'm going to let her have it.

If you haven't fished with her or she didn't show you that spot, that was not professional. If she did show you that spot I can understand her frustration. But it's a big lake so really no need for any of that.

I have never fished with her. I found the spot on my own and its not all that big a secret. It has happened at several spots.

Then that was very unprofessional in my opinion if that is what happened.

if she really came past you on plane , 10 feet from your boat, you should file a complaint with tpwd. This is behavior that will eventually cause a bad accident.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
