PS go ahead and post the backgrounds to those pics.... Very nice Hogs! I also need to see the backgrounds; needed as scale reference to better estimate fish size in the foreground.

We have boat. Plastic boat that is! Pelican 10E, academy 499 out the door. now for all the accessories - nickel and diming to financial ruin did not get anything else, except for a PFD, some fishing line, 2 pairs of blue jeans. Am now installing new boards on the trailer....after I loaded 10 2x8x16 and paid for them, wheeled them out.. wait what!?? my trailer aint 14'. its 12'. Lowes guys very cool - they pushed them back, unloaded and loaded the 12' boards for me. thanks men.

I know... no pics didn't happen right now its under a tarp, enduring the wind and about to get rained on! Did not have a chance to take off all the plastic shipping wrap, etc. working on the trailer kicked my butt! got leg cramps now. ah, the lazy, no excerise life...

questions about trolling motors for the Pelican - features ..
more money : folding handles a bit more money : variable speed basic: fixed, multi speed
What have you guys found that was really the best for you ? Any regrets ?
I'll start Transom mount, and then move to bow mount. At 6' 4" some things may mean more than to others ?
thanks very much for any advice.

I have a 10' prowler and use a 45 lb transom mount with no issues. You can turn most transom mounts into a bow mount by loosening the shaft screw and turning the head 180. My rig is pre-wired for it but I've never tried it. I don't think it makes much difference since it isn't foot controlled. Big upgrade from my 30 lb thrust.

Another question.... any found a safe and decent adhesive that can be used to attach, say, plastic hooks to hold lightweight items ?
