Late registration for the CAT tournament held on June 21st at Ray Roberts will be at The Pilot Point Sportsman Shop on Friday June 20th. The shop is located on fm 1192 in the old sale barn on the way to Lantana Lodge and Jordan Park. Tournament Directors will be there from 5-6 to take sign ups for Saturdays tournament.
The Pilot Point Sportsman Shop will have plenty of minnows for the two practice days and for tournament day. You can buy minnows by the pound for $18.99. They also carry all of your major brand tackle so if you run out of something swing by and check them out first. They also have a full menu breakfast every morning. They will be opening at 6am on Thursday and Friday and will be open at 5am on Saturday.
Swing by on practice day and get everything you need and familiarize yourself with the bait shop and also with Jordan Ramp. The lake is very dangerous right now and we want everyone to stay safe. Jerrod is the owner of the sportsman shop and can answer any questions you might have here on this thread. He goes by Firecop.
Thanks guys!

We're gonna try to be there for breakfast at 5am that morning. Firecop is also putting on a crappie tournament June 28th. I'm booked that day, but should be a fun one.

Thanks Cody. What's the condition of the ramp at Jordan right now? Any key areas of the lake that are extra dangerous right now?

It is shallow at Jordan Ramp. The 2 outside ramps are closed with baracades and the center ramps are still launchable but shallow. The Pecan Creek ramp is also shallow. The Johnson Branch state park and Isle Du Bois state park ramps are both good. All area of the lakes are dangerous, lots of hazards. Be careful.

Yes so many hazards everywhere. Jordan is good to put in at but remember, pleasure boaters will be out and will most likely be clogging the ramp at weigh in time so give yourselves plenty of time.
Also, if it looks like you can run it, you probably can't. It's not worth risking it in my opinion. Buck creek ramp is good as well. The best ramps are buck creek and isle us Bois state park in my opinion.
Should be lots of fish caught on the typical Ray Roberts summer pattern. Looking forward to seeing everyone and having fun! See y'all there!

Hope this wind slows down some. It was rough in Buck creek today but the ramp is in great shape.

Looks like I'll be pre-fishing by myself on Friday. T. Dub abandoned me.

Are you allowed to launch else where and come by the Jordon ramp and sign up?
