You have just listed the championship, the Berkley big bass, and the last event of their central spring trail. Was that your intention?

My understanding is blt wont let guides fish next year on there home waters. A little birdie told me for what its worth.

I only see it as pros(having fished in more than 1 tournament with an entry of greater than $2500 in the last 6 months preceding the tournament) and amateurs. Personally I have no problem with pros competing in tournaments, that's fair game. It's not an issue of being upset that competitors are "too good". It's the unfair advantage that a guide holds that I have a problem with. I'd rather compete against pros than against guides who are on that same lake every day making their living. I feel like that would be fairer competition

JC Outdoors offers a fall trail on Fork.

"Locals" will finish in front of guides 80% of the time, not sure why people always are making an issue over that. Maybe BLT should give a box of tissues with every paid entry...

Mark has a good Fall circuit on Lake Fork and NO guides. Give it a try. We fished it for the first time last fall and will be back.

I fish a club (East Texas Bass Association) mainly to keep from having to look for a fall schedule. This gives me 1 tournament a month to compete in. Maybe something like that would help out in place of a larger trail.

Check one of the blt and bass n bucks divisions that I'll leave unnamed and see if you don't see the same guides winning at least half of the tournaments. I'm not out to trash anyone's name and certainly not trying to bad mouth their business(which is why I didn't mention any names or the division). It just doesn't seem fair that someone who has the opportunity to fish the lake everyday should be fishing in the same tournament as those who don't. Yes locals can often have more experience than guides on that lake but being on top of the current patterns of the fish trumps a long history of experience on the lake when it comes to tournaments. Being on the lake everyday would certainly give you the advantage of being able to pattern the fish better than those who have jobs outside of guiding. And you're also forgetting that a lot of guides are locals. Not really looking to debate the rule, if those who fish in these tournaments are fine with it then so be it. I just know that myself and many others that I know have chosen to not fish in blt and bass n bucks for that reason. Definitely not looking for an easy win I just want everyone to be on a level playing field

How many times you see pictures of overs on lake fork from guides, about every day. They can get one over and pretty much be in the top 3, that would beat my 5 little swimmers all day long. I might get lucky and luck into an over but chances are not that good. I won't fish if guides are allowed to fish the same tourney.
