You can DL the gopro editor free from gopros site...or you can use windows moviemaker...that's what i used when I had a GoPro.

Guess it all depends what you wanna get out of your videos, basic stuff like music, pics, slow motion you will be fine with the Gopro software, Imovie, windows movie maker. If you wanna get real fancy and like apple editing software Final cut pro is the way to go, I use imovie and final cut pro.
