See if there's anyway ya can get 'em ta swap tha torque master for a sport master. Gotta feelin' ya might need it later!!! i agree with this 100% that's a legit 85+ boat. and the sporty will drive and handle ALOT better. that combo for fishing is really good!!

i setup a 20xrd with 225 Sport XS
ran 87 loaded.
that DC may be a little slower , but not by much.
with that stock case. be careful with the trim button. the bow gonna wanna get up high on ya real quick.
and DO NOT get that boat with a trophy. get a 28p Bravo I XS or a 27p TXP o/t4

Well I figure for the price I'm paying if I hate it I'll sell it and break even or make a little money on it...my only concern is rough water ride but I know a lot of rough water is the driver, trim position and wave approach. My first bass boat was and old 16' ranger and I grew up fishing w dad in a 15'10" monarch , today's roughest riding 20' boat HAS to do better than those!

You will love the boat, believe me. I loved all the Bullets I had, but I loved the 20XD the best. Great boat that will do whatever you ask and come back asking for more.

I have a 1997 20xd that looks new. This boat has been cared for during it's 17 years of heavy use. I now am a true Bullet fan. The build quality is amazing, the performance is like no other bass boat and it takes wind driven or wake board boat rollers as good as any. My only complaint with the 20 xd is when the wind is howling it gets blown around more than heavier boats. Btw, the 225 is mechanically the exact same as the 250, only difference is in ecu mapping. Once that sucker runs out of warranty get a Simon lightened flywheel and remapped ecu and pickup another 6-8mph

Really? And it should not affect any of the mechanics of the engine at all, just retune it a bit? The boat feels like a rocket anyway...throttle response is nuts, you give it throttle and it pulls hard

From all the research I've done, yes sir. That's why the option for a 250 is only $1000 more than a 225.

That's pretty awesome, that boat should scream after that little bit of work. It already feels much more high performance than any boat I've ever owned. Now if this rain will stop I can use it a bit lol
