I was hoping that grate ramp was in the water. I'd like to know too. . .

Last I checked the water was just touching it. But that was before the EQ quit flowing.

Cool thanks man. Have you done any fishing out there or have you been sticking to Ivie?

I have been on Nasworthy every day. But I might try to take the kayak over to buttes sometime.

Was out there Sunday morning. Could see 3-4' of grate in the water, then the water looks like chocolate milk. Not sure how long that ramp is,no problem getting the Yak in there smirk
Got some real good rain Sunday and got the EQ flowing again.

I'd Tack That!!

I know nothing about Twin Buttes but I have read reports about how low it has been. Why does the following report show it still really low? It says it is only 7% full. Is it that low even after the water it has taken in? Repeat; I know nothing about this lake.

Before the rain it was close to 0%.

Very true. And even if it is only 7%, if that grate ramp is touching water, then the water there went from about 2-3' deep to over 15' deep. If that gives some idea of how much it came up. I've heard the official estimate is 16.5' average increase in depth.

Tpwd here doesn't update very well most of the time....it has risen a lot and is over 7%anotjer 5-10 ft would make the surface area of the lake look huge!!

Yea I gotta guess it's more around 25 - 35% from what I've heard. But that's just a guess. I still haven't seen it. I'm really tryin to get to Angelo this weekend because I wanna see the old girl with water in it again. I was out there during xmas and I thought it was a done deal. I saw stuff I never knew existed in that lake. Took the time to mark a LOT of stuff with a handheld GPS and boy am I glad I did.
