why would you bring up a guy from so long ago and put his name out on a public forum ?
shouldn't there be a statute of limitations on this kind of thing ?
and if you don't know it to be true,,,,,why would you repeat it ?
Because it's a forum and that's what people like to do.

I'm still wondering why a man resurrected this thread after 4 years!!!? Good point I didn't even notice that. I looked at the guy's website. 10 time National Champ? At BASS? Wonder if he fished in Lightning Storms?

Don't believe all the stories about John Fox. He got in a fight with Ray Scott and was banned from BASS. People assumed he was caught cheating and the stories grew like wildfire.
The man that was having fish put on his hook for a TV show he was filming was a different PRO Angler and still fishing. This guy knows what's going on!! How does no one remember what happen in the early to mid 80's?? I was a kid and remember this. He took several of us kids fishing on Harris chain of lakes while his wife and my mom was fishing the woman's pro circuit "Bassngales".. He did this because he stopped fishing pro for a few years. I traveled the country with my mom in the summer while she fished the circuit. The old RedMan trail fished the same lakes close to the same time as the ladies and he didn't even fish it. A lot of people will get but hurt over naming this person because he is such a high profile fisherman. If you don't know who it is just leave it in the past and don't ask.

wife was part of Bass'n Gals and stopped fishing pro for a couple years, and high profile... "who is Roland Martin? Alex" would be my guess based off those clues.
