I fish with the flash mob by YUM. I catch alot of fish but I have problems with them making a whole day of fishing without one of the wires (5 wire) breaking off. Anyone else having the same thing or know of a more duable brand? I think a $13 lure should make it more than a day. What say you?

That's about all I get from a Yum. The Flash Mob Jrs that are packaged with just the rig(no heads or bodies) are pre-bent and seem to last a little longer. They cost about 7 bucks at Academy. Haven't tried any other brands.

I've fished with the flash mob for a couple years now, and I don't think I've ever had a wire break off. I've lost a few of the rigs themselves which becomes aggravating, but never lost an individual wire. I had to find just the right jigheads that were strong enough to stand up to the braid, but light enough to bend out when you get hung up. What type of line are you using? Are the wires breaking off on fish, or on snags?

Never had a problem broke some of the snapps and straight n hooks out, broke line at reel once but never broke a wire off. IV also caught another arig at Monticello apparently they didn't have big enough line to straighten the hooks lol

Fished on 65lb smack down with pacaso 1/32 5/0 heavy gauge hooks

Seriously I have broken all brands so far. Even Titanium.

I agree with GarySHO. I fish the Flash Mob Jr and have had 5 break since April. I had two break this past week. I have to admit that one finally broke after catching 18 bass with three over 8---this was at Fork. The others broke while fishing at Cedar Creek and Ray Roberts. The problem at those lakes are Hybrids and Whites. They love the U-Rig and they bend the wires a lot. Regardless, the rigs should hold up! I'm trying different models now to see how they hold up.

Any wire when bent over and over will break. If you know how to build one that doesn't you could be a billionaire by the end of the year....and I'm not talking in this fishing industry.

Remember even an I beam will break....when put under pressure.

I use the Flash Mob Jr. and have this happen now and then, breaks my heart because it is always on a BIG bite.

I'm going to start doing a few things. 1) dial a little more drag in. 2) replace entire a-rig every day or two of use. 3) don't tinker with the wires as much, I'm always bending them out as far as they go.

I throw the flash mob jr and I have broke wires from catching so many fish and widening back out the wires. But i fish it until I have 3 or less wires left then I replace it

Seems like I can only get one practice day and one tournament day out of a flash mob jr. if that's my primary lure and I'm catching a bunch that weekend. They last a little longer if you don't spread the wires all the way out, but the swimbaits get tangled more often.

I have had them break on fish and from being hung. When they are hung it is usually wedged under a rock. I don't keep tugging on them and just go the other side of it and it pops loose. I have some Picassos but I have not threw them enough to see how they do. I try not to tinker with the wires because I know that eventually they will break. I even bought a brand new one in the package and it only had 4 wires. Mismade. I think I will gather all the ones that break on me and send them to YUM with an explanation and see what they do. I know that they should last longer than they do for what you pay for them.

Try SK Titanium one, it last a bit longer. About same price too.

I'm surprised they last as long as they do with me! I always catch a bunch of fish (white/hybrid/striper too), big fish, and get hung a bunch. Also bending wires back every other cast.

I hardly ever lose one, rocks are easy go to other side and on wood usually a reel down works.
