Looks like Choke might get some water out of all of the flooding. Garner state park is pretty flooded along with a creek in D'hanis so lets hope that it all flows into the frio and finds its way down south. I read that there are 3 river that make up the frio over near Hwy 90 the East, West and Dry Frio. Video below

Lake Travis caught 2 ft with another 1.5 - 2 on the way. Takes a lot to raise that lake

Choke is up over a foot from yesterday. From what I can tell from the USGS streamflow data, right now its all coming in from the San Miguel, with a lot of water in the Frio way out west like Will said. Unfortunately, it seems like when its really dry and the Frio catches water that far west, little to none of it ends up making its way all the way to Choke. I guess it ends up just filling the empty pools and soaking into the dry ground. We'll see.

Regardless, its a good start to the summer. Maybe a stray tropical depression will hit out here this year

Huh. This morning, waterdatafortexas.org showed the lake over 197', now it shows just over 196'. Not sure if its wind or what, but unfortunately maybe the lake isn't coming up yet after all.

Not sure where you heard about Choke coming up a foot. Choke has come up .11 feet as of today according to www.waterdatafortexas.org. Maybe there is water on the way...but so far, it hasn't done much to raise the water level at Choke.

The water on the way won't do diddliy squat, it has to rain farther to the west to catch the frio.

No matter how much it comes up, some is better then none at all. Hopefully now we can get a hurricane or tropical storm to back this blessing up.
