Trying to put this back to the top so thought I would post some pics is me getting ready for this swap and the next one. I herniated L4 and L5 last week so have been limited with my fishing so decided to take this time to get a jump on the next couple of swaps.

Pouring jig heads. Pour spout was messing up so had to use a ladle. The 'Snail' was laughing at me the whole time.

I see so many different versions of Electric Chicken I have to ask ..... what color is Electric Chicken, the official color?

Chartreuse and violet are the original colors, but there are many variations.

This combo seems to work best in Lewisville. Pink and yellow feathers, Arkansas Shiner chenille on a pink head. Just my version of it but it does catch fish.

I like that combo. I'll have to tie some. I like the High noons also. I just got some fl yellow paint (and fl orange, pink (already had) and fl green to try out. Still have 4 other custom cheniels, however you spell that, to try out. Probably will tie one of them for this swap.

I divided up the themes between all of us. We ended up with 12 folks in this swap so we will each tie two themes. I will send out a pm to everyone with my address right after I post this message. You are more than welcome to post pictures of your jigs on this thread, however you do not have to since I will be taking pictures of all the jigs and posting them after I have received all of them. Remember please send 12 jigs of each theme to me by July 7, 2014. And as someone said before make all 12 the same.

Would muddy water require dark colors?

For me it doesn't have to involve dark colors. However contrast is a good thing in stained and muddy water. The fish need to see it.

Had a productive evening of tying at work. I'll have mine in the mail tomorrow.
