So now we have sound control? That's just flippin' perfect. Goes to the point I make over and over on this forum. For many, catching fish is secondary to looking good trying.
Can someone explain to me how this makes boating safer? Oh hell, just explain to me how it make no difference at all and that it's not promoting unsafe behavior.
Some people can afford cool toys and chose to spend their money on toys and some don't, pretty simple I do not need $600+ rods and reels to catch fish, but I do own some

I think I am going to put muffler silencers on my Harley.  Seriously Steve!! Heaven forbid that we offend someone on TFF because our motorcycle or outboard is too noisy.... OMG......

Merc's are already loud enough, ever try and listen to what a tournament director is saying at takeoff when someone has a Merc sitting there idling between you and the PA system? Harleys silenced... man wouldn't that be awesome. South Park made an episode about this very thing, hit the nail on the head. I believe the episode is called "The F Word".

This is cool .... or not....? "Lets Rumble. This creates an unmistakable throaty rumble thats been tweaked to impress friends and neighbors and call attention to the new outboards to say nothing of the boats proud owner. And when it is toggled off, the outboards sounded even quieter than we initially thought.
