Today's blog for Yakangler is a letter to the "new guy". Hopefully it will reflect all the goodness that shines throughout our kayak community.

Very good write up.
As one of the newer guys (haven't made an introduction post yet, but hopefully soon!) I truly appreciate you taking the time to write it up and reinforce the greatness of kayak fishing. And even tho I haven't personally come across or met any of you yet I am hoping to soon! And the part about not enough time on the water is 100% accurate.

windy, only one red, no trout, gafftop were taking artificials, a few small black drum and a 36" blacktip. Strangest trip I've been on in a while.

It's fun and anyone can do it. Good luck and let us know when it's ready to go!
