Hey guys thinking of hitting the lake for the first time on Friday. Any reports on whites and hybrids? I will be in a kayak and any tips would be great, but really would like to know if anyone has been catching any. The lake has some gaps in stocking the last few years for the much discussed reasons and I am curious how bad it has affected the fishing for hybrids.

Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

Don't have much to offer but I'd like a report when you get back.

I'm headed there this weekend. I was there 2 weeks and caught whites on the rocks on the east side of the lake. Should start getting good soon.

In the absence of reports, I dont think I will head over there. I will just fish here close by. I need to get a topographical map of the lake. It just takes longer than I want to spend to find the humps and drop offs and then the ones that hold fish by trial and error in a yak. The chance of hybrids is just tempting.
