took my friend out to fly fish on the llano river. He has always used one of my rods and just recently got his own set up. We set out for anything that wouldn't swim away from our flies. I have made many cast to small mouth buffalo on the llano and have never had any luck until yesterday! I found one up on some flats and dropped my fly right where he was eating. He didn't think twice about it and sucked it right up. This fish made the entire trip worth it.

Much respect sir. Nice that he picked such a pretty backdrop to suck up your fly.
I've been chasing carp for well over 3 years and have yet to get a buff.
