Does anyone know how the fishing is at the Lewisville barge? I'm going Tomorrow but not sure what's all biting. Any suggestions? Thanks.

On an unrelated note, how'd you do out there today Tom? I was going to look for you but was having issues with my motor. Just as well, I couldn't even catch bait this morning...

So the bait is that bad on Lewisville? I am been thinking about fishing it but I would prefer not to have to go on bait run first.

I have yet to see the shad spawn. Went out yesterday and caught 1 shad at the Oak Point boat ramp. The next throw, I hooked a big rock and destroyed my net. I cut the one shad in half and fished from shore for an hour without a bite.
He is truly a sick individual.

Shad were on the banks this morning, the white birds were tearing them up. Not the full blown spawn, but they were there and the ones I caught were full of eggs, water temp 64

bait has been tough to catch for me all season so far. I spend about an hour tossing the throw net for a days worth of bait.
they've been in deeper water til today.
