I immediately thought that was it seeing that AH is so tough...but I caught a 6 pounder a couple hours later and we won the tournament so not all was lost.

Yeah I said a dirty word

Was culling with a friends balancer, culled a fish and threw the smaller fish in the water with the cull-balancer still hooked in its mouth! lol, i saw this in slow motion as it happened.

Man, that's rough!
For me, I took the hooks off a crankbait to replace, tied it on and forgot to put the hooks back on... I made a good 30-35 casts before I noticed.

I left the trolling motor down and cranked up and headed to the boat ramp. Luckily by the time it hit land I had slowed down and it just cracked the plastic housing and didn't bend it.

Saw a guy do that on Cedar Creek a few years ago in a new FX21, broke the entire Minkota off the bow, he got up went to the front of the boat and threw it on the deck, THEN.....he blamed his hott wife in the passenger seat! LMFAO!

In Feb several years ago I was on T-Bend running wide open on NS3 thinking I had enough water to clear the shallow ridge. Long story short- ran into 2" of water, was too shallow to turn boat around, had to go forward, took 1-1/2 hrs in 39 deg water to push the boat free. Had to get on my hands and knees, slide an old 2 x 4 under one side of the boat, lift and push with my shoulders. Move about 1". Repeat.

When I was finally able to float the boat, I looked up and 3 boats from my bass club were sitting there drinking beer and having a good laugh. When I asked why didn't they help, they said " What, mess up this show." Since I was making headway they said they didn't fell the need to help. But if I didn't make it they would have "helped" This is when you know who your friends are. I also look at the current lake level for every lake I fish now. LOL.
