I have been running marathons on my ranger trail with zero issues. Most failures are due to improper under inflated tires.

If you run over 65 mph on the highway put an extra 10 pounds of pressure in them per a service bulletin.
So 60 pounds of pressure for their C rated tire.

Tire Pressure , Tire Pressure always check and adjust if needed . Got some the other day , Made in China . Still going to check and re-check tire pressure .

What other brand of tires do the other boat manufacturers use??? Cooper Cobra Radial g/t, these were on the cats for awhile Mastercraft Avengers g/t these are on the cats now

I've got Cooper Cobra radial GT's on my trailer now and will never put another brand tire on a tandem axle bass boat trailer again except these.

Marathons used to be good. Moved manufacturing from USA to China and have had problems ever since. Just google "goodyear marathon china" to see the stories. I know you weren't soliciting opinions, but I figured I'd try to save you some money instead of burning it like I did a few years ago. Google some more. They fixed the problem 2 - 3 years ago. Do you have a link? I couldn't find anything confirming this. Just get some Kumho 857 Radials. D-rated for heavier load and will handle highway speeds without a problem. And you're not risking your hard-earned money on a tire that Goodyear outsourced and clearly sacrificed quality on.

I have blown all five of those garbage tires on both trailers on the last 2 boats that I have had 2010 & 2013 skeeter ...Fishing partner has blow 3 on his 2012 skeeter....switched to Carlisle no problems

Same here. Switched to Carlisle and have had no issues at all. They're even a little less expensive than Marathons.

Discount tire will order them. I have had no issues with mine, the only reason I had to replace them was because some jag backed into my trailer, gauged both tires and dented my fender pretty good. And no, no note. They ordered them for me and sold me a warranty as well. Great experience from Discount Tire.
