Have the fish moved onto beds at PK yet? Fishing the lake this weekend and have really no experience out there. Any help would be great.

Water temp was 54-55 this past Friday. I think were 2 weeks away before they will be moving up to spawn. This week it will warm up some but next week to cool down some. Most fish were caught in 10-15 foot range and very few due to high pressure.Should pick up soon.

We have a cold front coming in Friday so this weekend it should be tough. I will also be out there this weekend.

Sooo your saying the fishing this weekend will be the same as it has been? I'm not going to bother then!

I fished a few hours sat evening, found water temps as high as 61 in the back of a couple of coves. Buck bass were up shallow cruising, saw one school of at least 30 bass cruising. Caught one buck on a square bill, after seeing the big school I rigged up a weighless wacky rigged white trick worm and caught 4 fish back to back. Caught 10 over 16in in Hells Gate just before dark. Talked with an old timer yesterday, told me he was doing good in the possum hollow area. If I was fishing this weekend I would concentrate on the back of the creeks in Hells Gate and Neeles Slew. I would hit the flat on the right side of Hells gate first thing in the morning with a white spinnerbait then move up into the creek and throw something with a slow fall along the bluff and around the timber. Hope this helps out.

That's a great report! I had never fished it prior to last September, but I sure plan on going back when the chance arises.
