Thanks FishrFood & 9point. I've been parking in the dirt lots across the street. To be safe I ask one of the hard hats if I'm in the way just to be safe & cool with the guys & all the heavy machinery. Don't want no dents in my truck. Ya dig?

Yikes. I thought this was worth quoting for visibility. Were you parked on the actual road, or had you jumped the curb and parked on that little patch of grass?

Good to know. Thanks for posting that. I wonder if the local homeowners were complaining. If they can ticket and tow for parking on that patch of grass, it doesn't look so good for the patch of grass on the north side of Miller. I hope they don't start towing there.

Getting some nice rain, and more importantly, some runnoff!

We are getting some rain but it is not the downpour we really need. This was more like a flash rain and it was not enough to make a difference.

It just rained again over here and it was a downpour. I think the creek is coming up after this.

I just checked at Miller. Looks like it's up more than that to me. Just based on those two stumps just south of the bridge, I'd say it's up at least 6 inches right there. But yeah, that's not much either.

Think it will still be fishable come morning or a bad day to go?

Look up " Aquaponics! The self sustained revolution." on Face Book and like the page to learn how to use fish to grow anything at 4 times the rate with 90% less water than normal agriculture while eliminating all chemicals and producing fertilizer for in ground plants.

The water still looked pretty clear to me. The banks sure will be muddy though.

Ok....now I'm totally confused. Where are you talking about parking on Rowlett road reel pro? Cause I don't know of any houses on it where a cop would come out of anywhere close to the creek? You don't mean Firewheel I don't think. Seems like the GPD goes down there about once a year and just messes with people for a day and that's it.Lord knows they don't write citations most of the time there. Are you talking about Rowlett road down where the old Marina Del Ray was I bet? That would make sense. Those snooty homeowners would never put up with us trashy fishermen parking our old trucks there would they. And I bet the RPD would be slobbering to write tickets and tow cars there. I don't think they'll ticket you at Miller unless they put up a sign. GPD isn't that hardcore.

Had a nice day at the creek! I stopped at 12 because there was no way I was walking back to the truck with more. Some of these were pretty large.

I felt like the creek hero today. Everyone stopped me on the way back to my truck to ask me what I was catching them on, and where i was catching them. Even stopped to let a couple of kids take a picture with my stringer!

J.Money, I spread the karma around today. I gave I guy fishing near me the same rig you gave me the other day since he wasn't having the kind of luck I was.
