What happened to North Texas Marine as a Triton dealer?
I was also driving down hwy 183 before mockingbird and saw Mid South Marine with
a Triton sign hanging. Any one know the scupe???.

Joe decided that he could not make any money trying to sell 60-70K dollar bass boats. He told me one time he liked them folks that bought run a bouts and pontoon boats, they use them for a couple of months and then put them in storage, bring it back to him in the spring to service and repeat. He also said bass fishermen were the pickiest and most demanding of all boaters. He is probably right.

Maybe its because bass boat guys actually know something about their equipment and they are picky about who works on it.

Right, and that's probably the only boat that customer will ever buy. Whereas, bass fishermen are constantly upgrading...boats, motors, electronics. Joe just got too rich off bass fishermen, then got lazy.

I use to be on the North Tx Fishing Team for years and the reason why they quit pushing Bass boats is $$$$. They make three times as much on Ski or Pontoon boats and they are a lot cheaper to have on your floor plan. Joe Wallace is a great guy but if you are in need of a Triton go see Cliff at Tx Boat World!! I LUV my new 21XS best riding Triton I have ever owned!!

I guess all the other bass boat dealers in Texas are too stupid to figure that out.
