You forgot Grapevine. Almost 10 feet low and only one ramp open and it's iffy at that. We really need some rain. CC has been 7 feet low as recent as just last year so 3.5 isn't bad.

Joe Pool is near normal but will not stay that way once they finish the pipelines to feed water into Lake Benbrook.

Then Cedar Hill and Joe Pool will start dropping. I believe they are starting all the pipelines by 2015 and will have them operational around 2020.

We need sensible watering policies for this region. HOA's should be forced to allow desert landscaping and lawns only need to watered once a week. They might not be as green but they will not die if they receive a watering once a week.

Of course you would probably need to hand water your foundation once a week as well during the summer since the contractors do such a poor job compacting the soil before installing the concrete pad.

I know it is bad for you guys in North Texas. But check out what we are dealing with down south...

Canyon Lake -8.40 not too bad

Choke Canyon -23.79 33% of full pool - some fish are being caught but dangerous to boaters

and the worst

Medina Lake -90.67 3.1% of full pool - pretty much unfishable and it used to have some nice crappie fishing

I was looking at past data and for Pk in 1954 it was over 30ft low and in around 56 the same then in around 1972 it was over 20 low.

There are a lot that are worse even farther west
Possum kingdom 14ft
lake Graham 12.5
Arrowhead 17.3
lake Travis in Austin 53ft
Lake ALLEN Henry 15ft
Lake Meridith 89ft
Lake Kemp 23ft

Yes pray for rain!

i wanted to ask a question about palestine. As you all know, Palestine pretty much full all the time. I was wondering if they have pumps that pump water from somewhere else or something of that nature. lol

To fish or not to fish... That is no question to be asking. FISH!

Still one ramp open, use it wisely. Havnt bothered taking the boat out lately since ive been catching fish easily out of my little one man boat.
