Went out again today and the sandies were still out and about. Only a few magnums, but lots of fun! Couldn't find any more shad at the first hole so moved to the afternoon spot. Caught a nice mix of blues and sandies with a steady bite for about an hour and then went home. Here are some twins caught at the same time. They were a blast on the sand bass poles! All fish released today.

went out and fished the main lake point this evening, only caught a few small sandies, but the birds were working however the fish were slightly out of reach. they were lots of people fishing this evening saw several nice hybrids being caught, it just not me catching them.
Just one more cast.

LOL! This is a pic of my sis from Thanksgiving at one of my favorite spring spots. I went for big cats and my sis went for these guys. She won this time...

anyone fishing the banks now? if so how is it? Fished just south of camp copass in a feeder creek and only managed a cat. Had someone else give us their monster crappie to fillet. Super generous folks.

Hit 2 spots today and was able to find some lmb along the shoreline. Only picked up a handful between 2 of us and all were small. Bait was tough to find but is beginning to move shallow as the water warms. Very windy out there! Figured some hybrids would start to show up today, but they remain elusive....for now...

They hit first Hybrid of the season of the barge 2 nights ago. I'm hoping the warm weather keeps up cause I'm ready for some lmb myself. New to the area so I havent hit too many spots but I'm trying to keep updated and keeping an eye out for good spots. Season is slow but warming up and I'm getting pretty excited. Thanks for update ShadYak!

Nice fish we have caught a few nice pigs on the Sandys and crappie on e m l my son caught a lmb 5 pounds crappie fishing 2 weeks ago
