You may want to double-check the "insured" statement. Most likely all travel into Mexico is excluded on your coverage. Sure, international waters use is covered against loss (you're fine at Falcon), but once into Mexico most likely your losses are not covered. It would be interesting to know how the guides are covering their personal liability exposures here. Not that I care because you'll never catch me in Mexico, but if I book with Mr. Guide and we go into a known cartel area that he assures me is safe in his truck and his boat...and something happens to me or someone else in my group in this "safe" area...it will get very expensive for the person that captained the trip.

There is such a thing as Mexico Insurance. You can get your vehicle and boat covered along with Life Insurance

I have been several times and I will be going again the end of July or first of August if anyone wants to get together with us. We stay at El Campo mirador and my little friend down there Hobiarie will take very good care of us.

back from 3 days with clients from California. Pretty good trip. 71 bass boated in the 3 days. biggest a 10.17 on a blade. about 25% of fish were over 4 lbs. Not as good as i have seen sugar in the past but not bad either. Coolest part was seeing a 50 year old dude jump up and down on the deck when he realized he had his first ever ten pounder. Never get tired of that!! Back for a few more days after this front passes thru. Camp mirador is where we stayed. 4 star. very nice! grilled outside and enjoyed the evenings. Ramp 150 yards from hotel.
