My favorite was the Yamaha cheerleader from the beginning of the Day 2 weigh-in.

"Give me a Y...
Give me an A...
Give me a H...
Give me an A...

What does that spell????"

Maybe he should've tried just spelling SHO.

I don't think it was spoken in proper English.. It was also sarcastic...

In sarcastic font... "sorry, we didn't have no crystal ball"

I like this one from Randy Howell talking about the still small voice that led to his decision to go to Spring Creek.

"It said 'Do you want to be good or do you want to be great?'"

It's in this story: http://majorleaguefishing.com/news_details.aspx?id=5612#sthash.FzZFWDO7.dpuf

A still small voice tells me it's Ike and his "..it's a giant" thing.

All those starving children in 3rd world countries dying with their mommies praying for them should have known that the "still small voice" dude was busy helping some guy win a fishing tournament... rolfmao

Whatever gets ya through the night, I suppose. smile

Sorry, no offense....but, yes, I make fun of folks that hear voices. There's medication for that.

Believe what you want but:

Extraordinary Claims Demand Extraordinary Evidence....and hearing voices is one heck of an extraordinary claim. Check the DSM.

Let's just drop it ok. Although I was raised in TX, I'm in Montana now and am not used to all the "imaginary friend" talk. I'll be moving back to the Rayburn area next year so, I guess I'd better get used to hearing that silly mess again.
It seems that it's ok to express this mystical b.s. but when someone call you on it....all of a sudden, they are the bad guy. Puleeeeze.....learn how to take a joke. That's twice today that I've made an innocent comment on a guy's mystical claim and got grief for it. Geeze folks...lighten up. smile

"Somedays you just gotta go out there and take your foot and break it off in em...ya'll know what I mean?" - Gerald Swindle

He's hilarious....and great example of how to lose.

First of all it's not mystical bs as you say and your comments about Randy are not considered innocent. You should accept the fact that some folks believe in a higher power even if you don't. That doesn't give you the right to get on a public forum and make comments that show your true colors. Learn to respect other people's views and you will be respected...even if your opinions are different.

I was labeled a blasphemer as soon as I arrived to Texas. I learned to keep my mouth shut, because almost all christians I have personally met judge you as if they were god themselves, even though the bible tells you not to.

EDIT- with that said, what you believe is your reality. I saw this experiment in which people who believe in god show brain activity in the communication regions of the brain when they pray. I personally have never spoken to god, but thats not to say I haven't tried- mainly because of intense social pressure.
