Fishing Caddo Inlet in the morning... does anyone know if that public boat ramp on the north side usable? I get upside down when picturing Tawok cuz North you know is always pointing up...so........yes it would be the north side.

I am not sure how low the lake is and hate to launch at Holiday to go clear cross the lake and past 2 mile bridge and hang a left.

Winds are from south 5-10 in the morning so Caddo seems like a good spot to best keep me out of the wind. I fricking can't wait, please anyone with some infor is welcomed and be safe out there.

Thank you-

My thoughts too, I just have not posted on this board in God I don't know when and I am so fired up to hear my bait clicker go off tomorrow I doubt I will sleep tonight.

I will probably go to the State Park... stay clear of the bank until I get around 2 mile bridge. Have a blessed day men and be safe out there.

state park is easier and has a dock.

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

Holiday certainly works as the damn is a great south wind blocker. I launched there this year when Fork was having the McDonald Tournament as we were going to catch some channels and ended up at Tawok. Water was so low the first 3 or 4 slips on the boat marina to the left of the ramp were dried up, boat was sitting on the ground. I saw first hand rectangular blocks of concrete right there to your left when your just backing off your trailer in your boat the water was so low. Now this was like 2 months ago? and we have rainfall since.

No complaints on Holiday other than one lane boat ramp especially when your chasing the strippers and targeting the damn. I lost at least two props there until I learned the path of least resistance, I stay right of the telephone poles and left of the rocks when leaving out, and then of course watch the hump on the right which was an island when I was there.

One thing good about Holdiay you can ride out a 1/2 mile at the very most and be on top of the sandies. Go slow when Tawok is low... humps become islands, thx. Buck Reynolds & have a Blessed Day
