With them closing down the marina off of Dalrock i think this is the only marina you can fish off of at Ray Hubbard now. Anyone been fishing there lately? Im thinking with the front moving thru hopefully it will push more crappie in the creeks and in the marinas

Live 10 minutes away. Stopped by this morning to check but nothing happening. 1 guy fishing. Maybe in a few days after the front settles.

I have tried this place 5-6 times over last winter and this year starting in November and I think I've landed 2 crappie.

3 years ago in December I went down to the barge to check out the fishing. The barge was full of fishermen fishing shoulder to shoulder, they all had their stringers full of fish . I tried to fish the next day and I still could NOT get a spot to fish , so I haven't been back since. It is a great fishing place if you could find a spot . It is seem like one had to camp-out there to get in. ???

PETE,
THEY HAVE ADDED THE THE DALROCK BARGE TO THE BACK OF THE ORIGINAL AT HARBOR BAY, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW THE FISHING HAS BEEN. AT LEAST IF THE CRAPPIE MOVE IN AT SOME POINT, THERE WILL BE MORE ROOM TO FISH.

Thump_addict they moved that barge again. It is not attached anymore. They original set up is there with a few changes. The Dalrock barge is on the other side of 30 where the Texas Queen use to tie up. No access to fish it. They are planning to move it when the lake comes back up but don't know where.

They ever put another heater in the barge this year? Last year when i was there their wasnt one and with all the people i fished outside and just a bit too cold to fish outside that day for very long. In the past between 4-8am was normally the best times at the barge. You could still catch them during the day but not as well as early morning. Thinking of going later but may be too cold in the barge without a heater and thinking sunday night may have fewer people. What do yall think?
