I have the NP Senior Pass that gets me 1/2 price campsites in all of the COE Parks, and that's a heck of a deal. Does anyone know i the pass also gets you access to boat ramps within the parks or is that a separate fee?

On Sam Rayburn I have to pay half price. The parks that are contracted out on Rayburn do not accept the card. Powell Park, Jackson Hill and others.

No it isn't. frown

I would gladly give up my retirement, all the discounts and the freebies I get to cut 30 years off my life and be middle aged again.

I wouldn't want to be a teenager but it would be worth it all to be middle aged again. smile

I don't know if I would call it nice, but it beats the alternative. It's really a shame that youth is wasted on the young and wealth is wasted on the old.

Todd I camp at rayburn park with my golden age pass and always get 1/2 price. As a matter of fact, I have reservations for next March for 14 days at 1/2 off. Golden age is the same as passport just a earlier pass.

That's interesting. The ACOE website says they honor the pass, but when the law was passed, COE was not included as being authorized to sell the NP Pass. They do give a list of places where you can buy it including mail.

The NP Senior Pass gets you 1/2 price campsites in all of the COE parks. My original question was, does it get you entry to use the boat ramps if you aren't camping. Guess I'll call their office and ask.
