????? I ain't skewered! I'll start it! For monofilament, I'm absolutely sold on Sufix Seige in Neon Tangerine and still use it on my dock shooter. I've peeled the SSNT off all my jiggin rods & replaced it with Bonehead Braid in the 12/2 size. I have the orange on 3 rods & the yellow on 1. So far it's proving to be outstanding line. Tough, strong, supple & very little problem with looping on the rod tip. I do have a spool of Bonehead monofilament that I intend on putting on my dock shooter when it's time to change it out. I'll be sure to report on it at that time. That's my

H20 Express,ultra clear mono 6lb. simple,basic,reliable,good price. Academy carries it. $4.99 for 330yds. It works for me with no problems, so thats what i use 99% of the time(I fish 7 days a week)whether on a boat or a slip, not in creeks though. My preference.

20lb. Power Pro in high vis yellow paired with a three foot 12lb fluro leader. It's super sensitive and strong. Plus the leader doesn't scare away any crappie that a high vis line might do. Do I believe that crappie are line shy? Not really, but I usually catch the big fish of the day when I'm fishing with others that are using high vis line. I figure it can't hurt anything so why not? Plus with the leader on there it's easier to re-tie quickly instead of messing with the braid.

Also are you tying it directly to your jig?

Also are you tying it directly to your jig? Spinning reels and one bait caster. Sometimes I tie directly to the jig depending on water clarity, othe times I use a fluoro leader. I sue this knot on all my jigs I use this knot tie join braid to Fluoro:

i use 20-30 lb braid either stealth or cajun. sure dont lose as many jigs and bobbers and couldnt tell any reduction on fish caught or bites.

I use 12 lb Bonehead braid tied directly to the jig. I color the first 18 inches or so with a black garlic spike-it marker.
