...a game warden! Yes and he pulled everyone out of the river and checked their license. It was a thing of beauty. I hope he comes by more often.

Now that is a first. I've fished the LMF a number of times, even when I called the warden about a bait flinger, and never saw them even come to the river.
Maybe enough people complained that they had to do something.

I have seen them checking people but they didn't check me. I guess cause I was fly fishing and killing them I moved spots and walked right by him checking someone and wasn't dragging a stringer. Just ask if I had been catching a lot said yep have a good day.

Shoot ! What are we supposed to do?
The ONLY reason to fish with a fly rod in Texas
is to throw a POPPER, casting any other type fly just means you're doing something.
