He is still a small one. They get much much larger +1 A few years ago in the back of Birch, one surfaced that I swear dwarfed that one. I don't even want to start exaggerating about how big it appeared. It was enough for me to fire up the big motor and let it have that spot. Lol

Chasinbass. I have seen that turtle in birch and it is at least twice the size of that one. No over exageration on your part.

Nature is truly amazing - as are some humans, LOL. I have friends that work in the Powerline industry - their crew pulled a snapper out of a pond up by Fork that weighed 150 pounds - I had a picture of its head -as big as a basketball. The Cajun's on the crew cooked it, LOL (figures) - said they couldn't eat it -tasted terrible.

One was found dead up in Garret creek that was estimated at 400 ibs. It had ancient holes in it that turned out to be musket balls from the 19th century...I do not have a link to it. I believe it, we've seen one that was at least 4-foot wide at it's center sunning in 2-3 foot of water in Wolf creek. Its head was as big as my thigh, kinda scary if you think about it.

Let the noodlers find him by mistake lol No more skinny dippin for me! You know that just might explain why some of the big bass are missing large portions of thier tails.
