Who remembers the comic strip that used to be towards the back of Bassmaster magazine back in the 80's? I can't remember the name of it. Harry and Charlie maybe?
I saw a video of somebody fishing from a very beat up jon boat and all I could think was that he named it the stump jumper, LOL....

That's it, Harry N Charlie, but not a strip, more like stories. Was one of my faves back in the day....

My uncle used to have a membership to Bassmasters back when I was young and I would read his old mags and laugh so hard I'd almost pee on myself reading some of the stuff that Don Wirth wrote. As soon as I could afford to join Bassmasters I did strictly for the Harry n' Charley stories every month. I have been a member most of my life of 53 years. It didn't take long for me to start reading the rest of the magazine and really getting hooked on bass fishing. Wish they still had H n' C. Miss them dearly.

Joe I had quiet a collection at one time too. I bet there are enough H n' C stories archived that they could publish a story every month for 10 years and never publish the same story twice.......

If they still had Harry N' Charlie in the mag maybe I would consider renewing my subscription. It lapsed in 1991. Maybe an email to BASS would do it.
