Other than Academy, Gander, and Cabelas which have basic stuff, is there another place around that carries quality tackle?

Up here in Killeen, there is Gil's Tacklebox in Central tx boat world... only an hour drive from Austin! He has some good stuff, and if he doesn't have what you are looking for, he can probably order it for you or might know someone else to get it from

Fisherman's Corner at Canyon Lake. On line store is Texas Bass Tackle.com This is a super place to get top end baits and some zoom custom colors.

McBrides Guns at 30th and Lamar has tackle. Plus it's the best gun store in Central Texas

Fish Finder's Marine in Round Rock is my personal favorite. Jensen's on Parmer Ln and McBride's on Lamar also have a decent selection.

I get most of my stuff at Dick's (in the Domain shopping center) or at Academy. I've driven to Cabelas a few times, but it's on the very opposite part of town.
My rod and reel came from Jenson Fishing Tackle. They're super nice, but their lure selection leaves something to be desired.
I did not know that McBrides had fishing stuff! Will have to stop by.

Ditto on Fisherman's Corner. I order online and usually get package in 1-2 days. They have a great selection.
