It's finally game week. We still need boaters for BFL on Sam Rayburn this weekend. There's several co anglers on the waiting list. Just to clarify, you do NOT have to qualify for this tournament. It's a qualifier just like the first four were. Call 270-252-1000 to enter.

How many Coanglers extra are there? I signed up after priority without a Coangler because mine backed out and wondering if I will get a link or not.

Currently 22 co anglers on the waiting list. I'll pay late fees for boaters the rest of the week. 270-252-1000 to enter.

Well it might be more receptive if it was posted on the Louisana Fishing Forum. rolfmao
(I know bad taste joke!)

But seriously, most guys are into the hunting mode and if they are not looking for the points they are dropping out. AND it's tough fishing right now for many.

That doesn't stop the Doves & Teal Season is only a couple weeks out. from flying
Last week a fishing buddy and I were at the Bass buster Inn on Sam Rayburn we can in on Monday and were told we would have to leave the Room by Friday because they were booked soild for a weekend Tournament only three boats came in during the week,I guess those guys thought 95* was too hot to fish too??

Maybe someone can post a few ideals as to why the field keep getting smaller? I think it's the format myself?? just my two cents on the matter
Okay I'll get off the soap box for now soap

I like the format, I think it's more of those who are out of it, dont waste there money on a $300 plus tournament. Also I think many see what it is taking to win, and if they are not on it they don't enter. Fishing has been tough on Sam, and its hot.

I was going to fish, but im not in danger of winning. Even though I have some good fish located, I don't have enough to win.

Well hunting this time of year is relative. They are mostly getting their food plots ready, putting out deer stands, checking and cleaning hunting lanes AND Bow Hunting and Squirrel Hunting starts in 3 Weeks. It's really a mental thing. After September in East Texas it is TOUGH to get a decent tournament showing. Sure there are some Fall/Winter tournaments but 75 boats is a LARGE showing for them.

Yep I'm sure that's how many look at it, but we used to have to sign up for all of the events to get into the field for any of them. I'm not putting anyone or any trail Down just saying We need to get a little input as to why to fields are getting smaller I 'm sure hunting and getting ready to hunt is one of many reasons for the lack of anglers fishing these yearend events.
