Anybody tried one of these reels? How do you like it? Pros and cons, worth the $$...?

I've got 11 right now. I absolutely love them. Best reels I have ever used honestly, sold All my shimanos an went to them after I first used one. Light as hell, smooth as all get out, stupid strong from what I've seen. One thing I love is that the spool on the Exo holds 20lb Invisx ALOT better than a Chronarch 50 mg did. I could never keep the line tight to the spool on the MG yet it lays down perfect on the EXO.

I bought one when they first came out. It casts great and is really light weight. My issue is with the reel being riveted to the reel seat. Within a couple hours it had play in it. If they would make that part one piece it would be awesome.

Thank you all for the heads-up. Interesting about the riveting. Maybe they will fix that.

A lot os saltwater guides have switched to the exo. Jay Watkins is one of the best big trout guides anywhere and a while back he went to the exos.

I've got 14 of them. 9 of the 100 series 1 of the 200 series and 1 of the 300's and the rest are spinning reels I absolutely love mine. Have had them now since Jan '13 and have not had one issue with the rivets in the reel seat. Although I have heard of the issue of them coming a little loose. Very smooth, cast a mile and extremely light.
