My wife and I hit Pines early this morning. The bite was slow, but we managed a nice even dozen of pretty nice crappie. They were all caught in 15' to 20' of water off timber. The hot color today was "Electric Chicken". My wife pretty much kicked my rear with her new 8' Pro Angler Rod and Pink Bonehead Braid. I'm a pretty good net man though! Fried some up for dinner tonight. Nothing much better than fresh crappie filets!

Electric Chicken worked good last week on Naconiche too. Nothing wrong with being the net man long as you get called to the dinner table.

Ally is getting pretty bad. Larger fiberglass type boat will have a hard time launching there. We launched at Johnson Park and didn't have any problems....but, if the water keeps dropping like it has the last few weeks it will not be long before Johnsons too shallow. I hear Overlook is still ok to use. Are there any ramp issues @ Johnson or Alley yet? ...JW
