Does anyone know of a reliable bait shop that sells Ribbon fish and Ballyhoo in the CC area? We launch out of Packery Channel and store the boat in CC. I know its available in PA but really don't want to drive that far. Any suggestions?

There are a couple of bait shops on the island side of the JFK causeway on the left at the bottom of the bridge (across from Snoopy's). The one I go to is Billings. I know I've seen ribbon fish in there before, but I don't know if it's something they carry regularly.
There is also a bait shop on SPID on the right just before you cross the bay to the JFK causeway you can try. I think it's the last building before you get to the bay but I'm not positive. I haven't been to that one in a few years.

I go to Billings under the Causeway first. If they don't have anything then I'll try the shop at the Red Dot pier.

The last one in Flour Bluff is "the bait bucket". I can't say if they have your bait or not but you could call and ask.

You can also check Clems and Marker 37 Marina - they both have Ribbon Fish listed as a bait they sell just can say if they keep a good stock of them. I would call these guys first.

I was there last week and the Wal Mart at Flour Bluff had ribbon fish in a freezer at sporting goods. I didn't see any ballyhoo, but have before.

Some of the bait shops, (Red Top) have started counting out the shrimp. I don't know if you get more or less that way. They also sell them each .20 and .25

They sell shrimp by the dozen in FL. a lot, if you are getting huge shrimp, it is to your advantage, small and medium shrimp ends up being your advantage by the quart.
