As mentioned, it depends on what kind of crankin' you are wanting to do. Deep divers? A 4.7:1 to a 5.4:1 gear ratio. Burning a trap over grass? I prefer a 7.0 or 7.1:1 gear ratio. For MOST types of CBs, I throw a 4.9 to 5.1:1 ratio. most people prefer a higher spped reel for square bills, but I still lke my 5.1:L1 gear ratio. I haven't used the new Lews, but I have heard nothing but GOOD about them. They will be my next crankin' reel purchase. I think the one mentioned is about $160 or so, new. I will probably go with a BB1 or BB1Z for the 5.1:1 ratio, though. Hope this helps. OH, others will metioned Curado E5, if you can find one, or even better a Curado B5, but those are hard to come by. MOST good crankin' reels will set you back $150 or more. So, it depends on what you consider a decent price. Hope this helps.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
