 Benbrook lake catfish.... Interesting stuff.

Hey guys I was just out on the lake near rocky creek yesterday night , fishing from the bank and I saw a few fish 10 feet from shore, what do you think they were? They would come up and go down slowly and were about a foot or two long. I only got a few bites and lost one when I was reelin him in. I might go back out today. Oh and the shad are all along the bank so go out and catch them while you can!

Probably a Carp I don't believe there are too many if any at all in bebrook

Gar or carp either, go back and catch a mess of channels if wind is right.

And in my cast net I catch little carp like fish are they baby carp or a type of large minnow?
i fish, not cause i want to... because i love to...

That is weird. Wonder why their is no gar? They are in every other lake....but then again...why are there no blues in Joe Pool?
