Finally got my boat out on Alvarado lake after doing the trolling motor tray yesterday and man it's a breeze to use now. My son caught this whopper on a white spinner.  I wanted to stay in the reeds because they are all in there right now but my son isn't that good at that type of fishing yet so I couldn't stay on them. Had to keep him busy.

No. I'm not one for donating money. lol Not a good tourney guy.
I bet it's tough tonight though with no wind.
We'd have done better but we had to wait 30 minutes to launch. Some dope was unsuccessfully trying to get his boat started on the trailer at the bottom of the ramp and I was third in line waiting to launch. Should have gotten there at six instead of seven. lol
