What do you do with a zip-loc bag full of used wine corks? I was walking through a resale shop and saw a baggie full of old wine corks, so I bought them. I then carried them home and made some crude poppers using the sanding drum and my dremel tool. When I got through with the poppers (2) they looked pretty rough.

Today I carried to my church's pond and here's the results. I actually caught 3 dinks before these 2 decided they wanted some.
Maybe the wine residue in the corks appealed to these " Baptist Bass".
It has been a while since I have posted pics, appears CRS has set in. Here's the pics (maybe) you figure out the context.

OSHA tries to make the jobsite "idiot proof" then the employers go and hire the cheapest idiots they can find to prove OSHA wrong.

The wine probly was the attraction, as long as you weren't dancing those poppers in front of those Baptist bass, or maybe they were moderates! ;-)

I'm not seeing any photos, but I am not sure if it is just my computer or if the links are incorrect. Just wanted to let you know. Also, good job on the DIY flies.

That's cool - your fly looks like a line of text. I've never seen anything like that.

I've seen beer can lures before though.

Would love to see those poppers... I have a steady supply of wine corks at my house, could put them to work!

I can see them now. Those poppers look nice, and those are some nice fish. Great job.
