Fished today from highport to 377 bridge then flowing wells Marina and there was dead fish everywhere. Is it just from the turning over or what? I saw a 40# catfish today, that just makes me sick.

Dead ones floating on Lewisville also. Most appear to be hybrids.

We fished Texoma this weekend. Saw lots of dead carp and catfish. I was also wondering what killed them. We fished the area from the Islands to West of 377 Bridge. Any ideas anyone?

This seems to happen every year about this time. I forgot what Hysmith said causes it.

Nope anytime any were. Normally cold and salty but it has happend in the summer out west.
I saw golden alga killing shad in buckham (Spelling) creek several years ago. That was in the winter.
Who knows......but you should report it to the Spills & Kills Team.

Had a report from a kayaker last week of "hundreds" of floaters on the Elm Fork just above the 380 greenbelt (from Ray Roberts to Lake Lewisville)- all species.
