Go into highsaw and Ledbetter and go to the back and fish the shallow grass-frogs, flukes, topwaters whatever. You will catch some fish. Also flip wood cover in 0-4 feet and docks. U can pretty much stay in there. It's community so hve at it and wear em out. I don't suggest venturing north if u haven't been in years. Palestine is full and good shape. With this sun lately fish are hiding in the shade.

I fished the media today. Had 21.35. If you go north fish the creek channels 3 to 8 feet of water. Flutter spoon and cranks worked pretty good me.

Flutter spoon? Just a ? Is that a technique? North in the stumps with a treble in 3 ft of water?

Kickapoo!

The bridge in Flat and the ones on Highsaw and Ledbetter usually hold fish this time of year. I would start the morning up in Kickapoo throwing topwaters and frogs and go from there.

Had a partner with me yesterday. Yes it can be done with a fluter spoon if you know how to fish and were to fish at.

Thanks guys! This will get me started for a 2 day trip. Never fished a flutter spoon, but I think Im about to learn. I have only been to this lake 3 times, 10+ years ago. I know where kickapoo is, but its full of stumps getting there isnt it?

Do the bass stay shallow on this lake year round? My home lake, Lewisville, for the most part they do.
