Going to Texoma tomorrow and have not been in a long time. Putting in the boat at Highpoint. Any topwater bite in that area?

Not much today from what I saw or heard about. I am sure someone caught a few somewhere! The fish bit early then again after 11:00.

We chased top water fish from daylight to 8:00 this morning. Never had any takers, just a few swirls.

Actually had a pretty good morning on topwaters on Texoma today. 4 of us caught 26 up to 13.5#. Used Striper Express.

Tried Big "TEXOMA" this morning and never found the top water. The front shut em down for us. One of the Kayak guys said he got some pretty good top water in the first cove north of highport but said it was nothing spectacular. LOL that would have been great for us. My co worker caught all three fish we got today. One striped, One sandy and one small catfish. The party crowd was out today. Saw a guy and his family doing pretty good on live bait after noon until 2 pm when we left. Good luck it is probably going to be good tomorrow BECAUSE I HAVE TO WORK! bang

We trekked north to Soldier Creek area from Highport yesterday morning. With no luck, saw JD there as well. We moved on to the cross and still nothing. We decided to head back towards Highport about 7am and did manage to find a few topwater takers on the rocks just outside of Highport there at the first point on your left as you are coming out of Highport. But all together we only managed to boat 6 fish from there. All were quality fish though. 4-7 pounders. Broke one off that seemed like a giant. If anyone catches one with a fire tiger chug bug in his mouth i'd like it back. LOL!
Fishing was MUCH better Saturday morning than Sunday morning for us.

I think I found it floating on top of the water. Was there a lot of line left on it? lol

Got 9 in the boat this morning on topwater. Just outside highpoint on the rocks. Just as it was getting light and only lasted about 20 minutes. A couple were over 5 lbs.
